    Default slcricket.com mIRC channel?

    Hey guys,

    Just want to start things off by saying that I know fk all about computing but I just wanted to suggest a mIRC channel for the site?

    The shoutbox is great but there is a bit of a lag...when you are having a conversation.....

    I think a mIRC channel will help all of the active members to get to know each other better and the new ones to introduce themselves.

    What do you guys think?

    Well.. apparently .. it's not working right! lol

    yeah lol...i started the thread because I only get an empty grey box when i go into the chatroom bit lol...

    Yeh right now there are like 15 of us.. it's a big confusion cause everybody's talking at the same time and noone cant understand who's talking with whom!

    yea well the Chat room located at the top is a IRC channel. I used to run few IRC servers back in the day. The chat room we have is a free public IRC channel though.

    IRC used to be really good back in the day for file sharing. Now I'm more into useNet. I have a $14 subscription with useNet and do all the downloadings there.

    It's way faster than IRC and If you have unlimited bandwidth to waste then its the way to go. It's worth the money I'm paying for.
