Ha Ha yes bro, The best of all are 70s, like clarance Wijewardana and classical 70s music.

Yeah i agree, im sick of the whole Hiphop/Rap scene, i still listen to old skool 2pac cause he made alot of sense but matchang i was a DJ in SL for a long time and since 1995 all i heard "Rappers" in sri lanka do was sing about kothu rotti and about sri lanka. I think if any Sri Lankan artist is to hit mainstream, Ruki's way is the way to go.

man u know who i would call a real sri lankan rapper if they can rap in sinhala / tamil and english that wuld be crazy

i herd some tamil raps but no sinhala ones yet .

The whole rap scene got messed up .everyone after money so mostly rarely any one makes good tracks like 2pac ,biggie ,big l used to do .. but if u listen to classical artists like nas

who had album hiphop is dead which was briliant .. straight heat no garbage bout how much chicks he had it with it ..and how many gun he has lol ..

Yeh man nothing can beat clearance's songs, so nice to listen.
I remember some now, Duwa maage doo and Sihina Lowak are some great ones.
