Why is free hit such a bad thing? I thought it added a bit more to the game, and I also think that it in fact helped the bowlers. I havent done any stat analysis, but I have a feeling that after the introduction of the rule the No ball percentage has gone down. You are going to pay more than you did ever before, so bowlers are careful.
