I'm not blaming Mathews. Mahela clearly set the tone. Mathews is always involved in these situations was my observation and tends to come off like a clown.

Everyone just grow a dick and accept it unless your name happens to be marty Mcfly and you actually have a way to change the situation. People saying that they would rather have drawn the series are the same people ( Im assuming) who would probably criticise our team if they actually did draw the series and say things like " we should've won", "when are we ever going to win a series" "Mahelas pansies can't even win a series" " LOLZ Mahela is so overated....y he da captain aney?" We beat PAKISTAN, a team that was undefeated for a long time up until they faced us. Lets be proud. Yes Mahela is a pussy and he should've gone for the win but i prefer the series win over a drawn series with "dignity and manhood intact" because quite simply, the scorecard doesn't keep score of a team's dignity and manhood. Rant done.
Btw not disagreeing with you it's just that the whining has gone on for TOO long

Bold - Nope. We didn't go for it when we were 2-0 up v PAK in 2009. We just don't.

Btw RAS, I think Mathews was asked to block it. The blame should go to that clown who wasted 44 balls for 11 runs.
that was vaasys last test..so one wanted to ruin that moment in 2009.

We could've always gone into blocking mode and drawn the match if we were to loose some wickets. we had 8 fucking wickets to play with. how could've we lost that game. what this shows is that there's no faith at all in the team.

I dont think anyone gave a shit about it was Vassy's last match or not. That's our normal way of thinking. We dont play to win we play not to loose.

people can come up with all kind of excuses it seems.
