Russell is actually a good cricketer, but how can he perform when he gets to play every other series. He does well, they drop him. He does badly, they drop him!! There's no justice to what they are doing to do Russell. Look at Australia, Hayden was doing poorly, but they kept him on, and now look at him. he's one of the best batsmen, outhere.

give him a better chance and let him bat at number 4 spot in the ODI team. May be even bring him back to the test side.

In australia you have domestic cricket, which is the states playing each other. And then in each individual state you have grade cricket. The A grade is a very strong competition and is probably the main reason why Australia are so strong. I am from queensland and Geraint Jones (the england keeper) couldnt even make 1st grade at his club. Asanka Gurusingha was playing for a while, not sure if he does still.

Dude What ever it is..... Russel Is one of those guys who have been chopped up and down the order without any consistancy , and in the end our dumb selectors have spoilt his game.
Exactly what they did with Nuwan kalpage.... If I remember correct therew as another really promising all rounder called Kaushalya weeraratne and he had a injury and since we never heard from him ... he showed pretty good talent. Hope they dont do the same with Tharanga and kapugedara.
