Whether it an ex selector, any selector, ex captains and players, and current captain and senior players all believe in him and expect him to be the replacement for the Aravind/Sanga mantle. What am I not seeing here?
I don't know what's so special about him. He's got some decent lofted strokes against pace bowlers that not many Sri Lankan batsmen play. That's about it for me to be honest. Then again he should be able to survive in order to play those strokes. Too many soft dismissals.

I wouldn't really read into what our past cricketers and selectors think given how retarded they have been.

What I have to say about the intellect of our selectors and some past cricketers compared to their counterparts from the other top cricket playing nations - "There are rich teams and there are poor teams. Then there is 50 feet of crap. And then there is us." Brad Pitt

Anyway, when you see someone like Randiv out of ODI squads and a perennial failure like Kapu in them, that's a clear indication of our cricket running on the highway to the shit hole as far as 2015 WC is concerned.

Hey guys , grow up ,. stop posting foolish comments and groundless forecasts. only lankans have this kindergaten attitude of their fellow citizens, it was evident during & after the war, they cant stop slinging mud at thier own. its been a very rough & daunting task for lankans to come to terms with the much fancied super sporting nations so give our guys a chance.
