Just had a look at that table. Haha Kula ahead of Dilshan and Mahela.
Sanga before Aravinda was the major LOL moment. Impact? bitch please!![]()
So Chandana and Dharmasena had more impact than Mahela
Entertaining analysis no doubt LOL
very interesting and i agree with the order of the top 10 except for kalu's inclusion. aravinda did have great peaks but he struggled as a batsman for about half of his career so no surprises there at all. plus sanga was a keeper and a reasonably successful captain as well. i guess the IMPACT stat is an aggregate of all the IMPACTs of a player so it's amazing sj still comes out on top as our greatest considering he has struggled as a batsman particularly until 96. wish there was more info on how that was calculated.

Sanga is an impact player in limited overs cricket? Lmfao Also how in the name of SRT did sanga, dilshan and sana get a higher captaincy impact than MJ?
Any way when it comes to sanga in limited overs cricket i think we can separate him into 2 entities, sanga and gonga. Gonga is an impact player but Sanga is most definitely not. But the problem is that only very rarely do you get to see gonga unleashed. I don't know what triggers the sudden change because sanga is random like that but all i know is that sadly we don't get to see enough of gonga which is a real shame. Sanga imo only has some impact with the gloves in limited overs cricket. His batting is neither here nor there and his captaincy was the same. You don't need any analysis to show that. If you have watched enough cricket during the past few years you would know that (unless you are a blind Sanga fan of course).
All hail Sanga the gr8

sanga got 2nd place due to his keeping and also his low failure rate(consistency) of 18% i think more than for match winning or single handedly changing knocks..
