Ohoma gahagena yamu, kisi burulak nathuwa.

Good luck and we should all be proud of our team and the fightback. I am mightily impressed. I get the feeling whebn SL go back home, they might struggle to adjust to our slow low turners when Eng arrive.

Had this been India facing the likes of Lee & Co...they would have got bundled out for less than 150 with their superrrr starrrrs.

If Mathews comes in, which hopefully he does, I honestly don't know the best squad because Tharanga performed last game and MJ was really impressed; he will play this match for sure I think, but hopefully Jayawardene doesn't promote him to top of the order.
I can't figure out who to drop. And I certainly don't think we should drop Thirimanne just because of his last performance. And I don't think we should drop Herath, since we certainly shouldn't go in without a specialist spinner, and Maharoof too I don't think should be dropped especially if Mathews is not fit enough to bowl!

Tough decision to make I would say!

I have a feeling that MJ will hit a century tomorrow!

What do you guys think the line up should be, and why? Whoever you decide to drop, why drop him?

Need two spinners. Maharoof can back off. He's not doing that bad. But if he took that catch we are well and truly win this match. Bowling impressive from the medium pacer bigroof.

Highly doubt it Malinga gonna effective in this pitch. If Mahela not using him as a in-swinging yorkers before 35th over he will bleed runs. Hopefully do provide us some quality cricket.

I think if Angie is fit Prasad will get the cut.

Why ? Well we have to make room somewhere and I think we value Mahas overs and Prasad unfortunately will have to step aside.

If I was picking a side purely on last night then I guess Maha might get the sack..but then again its a hard decision because he can bat a bit. But so can Prasad from last nights evidence. So it will be a touch choice

2 Spinners ? I'm not sure because Senanayake, sadly has not lived up to his reputation at all IMO, so I think it might be a bit of risk playing him. Herath, bless his soul, while not a wicket taking option, cuts down runs and gets through overs quickly. I just wish he would turn the ball a bit more he would be quite handy then.

If Mathews comes back I think Mahroof should be dropped. Same batting lineup. But I think Mahela missed a trick by not sending Malinga before Herath and sending rusty Maharoof before Kulasekera. From my understanding I feel Malinga is a good batsman once he gets his eye in. Herath has talent but bats like mad max. So u would always have the risk of losing his wicket. Therefore, Hearth should be the last batsman.

And Maharoof not going for the catch I think cost us...Plus our fielders should attack the ball. They are very slow except Dilshan & Kulasekara. If they get to the ball fast I think they will be able to get away with their sloppy throws.

    Maharoof will play

Only change i see is Matthews for Thiri

They wont include another spinner since dilshan can bowl a few overs , he was by far the best yesterday.

Dont think we can drop thiri cuz we need the batting even if it is slow..

Prasad had to take the hit IMO.
