Yep Parana Played well , But you can't judge a Player based on one good innings.
You had to take all series in to a calculation. So the end result still paranee is not good enough. He can be getout for a duck in 2nd innings If pak set a score us to chase.

think still we need to give chance to Dimuth. He is our future. If we really want to give para a go then Rest dilly for nz series and ask para and dimuth to open the innings.
We need standby opener for AUS tour for sure. No need chandi to ask to open . Pls dont do that.

Otherwise rest sanga for NZ series and give chance to chandi 1st down. But i never think it will happen of course brown bradman is nearing 10000 runs. and great chance to get 100 aginst NZ.

And Sarame da g8 what a legend!
you know i used to think like that as well, especially after seeing test openers like upul tharanga, warnapura and even dilshan. but what's the point of having a seemingly compact technique if you can't meet the ball with the middle of your bat? he continues to edge, be it inside or outside, like there's no tomorrow. guys like warnapura and dilshan have had much more impact (dilshan more obviously) on our innings than this guy easily.

Chandimal is a walking wicket when he's trying to nudge it around. Negative influence of bloody old plodders like Sanga (SL, NCC, Kandurata, Deccan Chokers) and Jamis (Kajuwatta United UK). He should play his strokes. Quick 30-40 from him will come in handy if we get a small target of around 150-175.

i saw him playing the same nudging way even in his school times against us.I told you the story how he made his 190 against us.Saw it no ones influence. It is just the way he place in FC cricket even.He only go for those dashing style in limited over cricket.

lol at your comment. It cant be sanga influence coz he is with mahela more often than not. may be jamis influence..

    His FC SR suggests otherwise.

Anyway, think he should go back to being himself in ODI. Has been way too defensive of late. He's there to make a difference, not to become another boring ball eater. I'll join you to call him a ball eater once he's done it in another 40-50 matches lol
