What is the best combo for SLPL squad as you guys think?I would take 6 foreign players,9 SL players including at least 2 current int players and 4 former internationals and 3 U21 Players.That is how my 18 man squad gonna completes if i picked.
SLPL: No auction, player draft on Friday
Retired spin legend Muttiah Muralitharan, has been appointed as the icon player for Uthura Province in the forthcoming Sri Lanka Premier League. An icon player has been appointed for each of the seven provincial teams. Shahid Afridi and Chris Gayle will feature as icon players for Nagenahira and Uva Provinces respectively. Players will not be auctioned for the SLPL. Instead, they will be drafted into seven teams when the franchises meet at 5.00 pm. at Taj Samudra Hotel on Thursday. Only the international players will be taken into consideration in this player draft and all Sri Lankan players, including the Test and ODI stars will be drafted at Friday's meeting.
