Malinga maybe the favourite SL cricketer in Mumbai. It's not as if they pick him over Indian players. Malinga has a good fan base in SL and it's stupid to compare.

I wasn't making a point for someone to agree or disagree. That's simply a summary of what you had posted.

This is what I can see. Indians are looking at this from a different perspective. Completely different scenarios. So they react differently.

Indian (Mumbai) fans
Don't give a shit about SLC contracts
Malinga has been doing well for them in i pee el
