Cricket: NCC beat Colts to reach final
Nondescripts Cricket Club (NCC) beat Colts by 4 runs in Duckworth/Lewis method to reach the final Sri Lanka Cricket Premier Limited Overs Tier A Tournament in a semifinal match played at Braybrooke Place today (14).
Colts won the toss and put NCC into bat first earlier in the day.
NCC piled up 263 runs losing nine wickets with propelled by two half centuries from Demintha Dahanayake and Jehan Mubarak who clobbered identical 60s.
In reply Colts reached 220 runs for the loss of six wickets in 45 over when bad light stopped play.
Kusal Janith Perera top scored for Colts with a 62-ball 65.
