^ mahela is much better opener than tharanga but according to sanga hes not so poor mahela has to bat at 4
In the premier league mahela had a great record , scoring more than a 100 strike rate , scored a 160 not out
and what happens the world cup squad get selected and sanga states tharanga is the no.1 opener so mahela drops bakc in to no.4 lol and hes back to his shitty strike rate and low scoring .
Its pretty oovious how much of value mahela is in the opening slot , with ipl even paying the guy 1.5 ,,,hes too good in the opening slot , scores with easy he can clear the field has all the shots .
chandimal also way better than tharanga , shuldnt even compare chandimal and krapoo there no point in that , krapoo avg is 20s , while chandimal avgs 50 plus in first class it self lol .
too bad hes not one of sangs favourites and poor randiv too , his econ is too high , or WAIT MAYBE THERE SAVING HIS MYSTERY FOR THE NEXT WC ?
mahela woulve been in the top 3in that list if he continued to open the innings which he stopepd after the conclusion of the premier league and was prly told to drop down to bat at 4 by the SLC in preparation for his positiion at the world cup.
mahela had 217 runs at strike rate of 103 in the premier league
mahela batted at 4
127 runs and strike rate of 69
You didn't get my point machan. I was commenting about the fact that Migara has ignored Tharanga's poor List A record in his previous comment. So I agree he has the worst List A record among top Sri Lankan batsmen, considering he has the best condition to bat in ODIs in sub-continents wickets.
And, I don't agree with the non-highlighted Chandimal-Kapu part.
Kumaruni, I would like to see your elaboration on what I asked on the previous page![]()
