Well done Sri Lanka, to come back from that terrorist attack and get to the finals of a tournament few gave us a chance is a magnificent achievement and we are all very proud of you. Sadly we didnt have answers for the challenges Pakistan posed today but thats cricket, life moves on and I hope we take heart and build a stronger side for the future. We should do, well done SL.

yes very proud of our boys.. but we cant win with 8 good players we did that in 2007 west indis too

our team selection is crap at best ......

any ways our guys did awesome to get to the final after 3 do-or-die games against aus, nz and wi ...... apart from wi we had the toughest path to the final ...... the tour squad and team selection is the only thing which angers me ...... imo we were the stand out team of the tournament because we won the most matches in the tournament (1 more than both pak and sa) but nothing went right for us yday and every thing turned to gold for pak ...... unfortunately that's what happens sometimes

SL have done as good as they possible could and the rest was up to chance. What a near perfect job the boys have done and as a team they all did there job to get to the last few overs and runs over the best in world cricket. I dont just mean Pakistan, i mean all the great teams in the comp. It has been a hard year for SL cricket and Pakistan cricket and it really was a perfect thing for both countries to stand up and show the world.
SL boys have been gentlemen because i would have sledged the Pakistan boys with " if you shoot at us you still cant beat us" but when you get a pakistan bus driver like they had it would be impossible to sledge them as a country when a pakistan person rises above and beyond to be a hero doing his job.
I can not ever see two countries in a year like this that are better to go at it for the worldcup t20. They have shown they are two countries that let there cricket show the way and rise above all other matters to show people sport makes a difference to us all.
Anyone that thinks a player from the SL team that was shot at should be replaced because he is not as good as he could be after the life changing event, needs there head read and has no idea at all about how good the boys really are!
SL team you have done yourselves very proud, most of all you have done your friends,family and nation proud!
