Angelo Mathews is gonna be one of the key players for SL in the future. I'm not saying this just because of his performance in this series but I have been following this guy for the past few years. The guy captained U19 team, and from then on I knew this guy is gonna be a future captain for SL. Has an average of 55 in first class cricket. He's not a fluke like Muba or Kapu. The guy got the real talent, handy bowler and a great fielder. I hope he'll be like Andrew Flintoff - all the injuries in the future.

Hope he gets picked for Pakistan series.

Pluses:Sanga is a great leader and an attacking capt / leads from the front.Mathews is going to be a great player and perhaps the next SL Capt / a great thinking brain. He is the man we have been waiting for. Finally a true batting all rounder in the making. He has the build to add extar pace to range in the mid 130's / he needs to do that.Resurgence of Malinga / the top fast bowler in our side.Mendis stiil baffles / and that is good for the future.Lastly, but not the least, Dishan, finally lives to his talents/he should open the batting in all forms, allowing Mathews to get in at 6 in all three forms
Negatives:
Isuru Udana, is a too wet behind the ears, needs more exposure, and time will tell, he needs to better control the slower ball, which has potential.Enough Muba for gods sake /Lets move on.Silva middled without getting any runs.The brittle middle order,lengthy tail,and lack of late fire power did us in.Maha and Thushara for Muba and Udana would have done the job with batters up to 8, and five full bowlers to boot, with assist from Mathews.

damn top order choked except for sanga. And Mahela aiya really gotta stop edging shit man. My pakistani boy was saying that the game was rigged and it was in some of pakistani media. Ah well, Both teams deserved this and next time we will get em. Especially when they visit sri lanka. Go mendis, murali, mali, and sangaaaa, and of course dilly. Congratulation.

congratz pakistan their bowlers obviously did their homework and stuck to their plans impeccably ...... better team on the day won and they thoroughly deserved it after their heart break last time around ...... very proud of our guys (minus a couple) for getting to the final which is an amazing achievement ....... dilshan was outstanding, matthews looks to be a great prospect, all our bowlers especially malinga did extremely well, and sanga, sana and mahela did ok ...... only disappointment is that we handicapped our selves by retarded squad and team selection ......

yeah a well deserved victory for Pakistan. they were well prepared and it was their day. everything went right for them.
however this has been a fantastic tournament for Sri Lanka. well done!!
