Does anyone have any info on when the Lankan athletes would be on? I was watching qualifiers in Paris but not a single Lankan was on any line up ;D

lol yeah I was reading about some of the measures they have taken to try and clean the air up!

To be honest, only China can implement some of these plans...For instance in Beijing, cars are only allowed on the roads on ALTERNATE days depending their registration plate No.

Can you imagine the response of the drivers in US/UK if they were told about this LOL...

Inner-city factories will be shut down from now....

But the most inconvenient thing for the Chinese is the security blanket that starts just outside the city...people have to wait for more than 3 hours on occasion for their vehicles to be checked for bombs and what not by people and dogs...

AND, did anyone see the short-range anti-aircraft missile batteries near the main venues??? very cool lol

lol. they are an organised bunch. in sa, the taxi drivers do as they wish --- it'd be mayhem implementing such a system- i can think of a two-word response....

    Should top the medal tally

they were only 3 golds behind america last time..and this time they must be practising heaps obviously for the home olympics.. and the crowds will be quite revved up (although i heard they are strict on what they can and cannot do lol)

No hope guys, US team will be the best Olympic team US has ever offered.

US announced starting 5 for Basketball, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Dwight Howard, Kobe Bryant, Jason Kidd, also Chris Paul and Chris Bosh are in the team.
