Just thought it would be nice to have a thread just for the finals as to relieve the congestion on the official thread.

Germany VS Spain

I think Spain will have a good chance of winning. Germany's back line has been suspect through the tournament, i doubt Metzelder will get a spot in the finals team. Ballack and Lukas Podolski really stepped up to rescue Germany early in the tournament.

Spain on the other hand have been in sublime form and Torres and Villa can take on any defense. Spains midfield i like too.
Another important factor will be goalkeepers and Ikar Casillias > Jens Lehmann.

I tip Spain but i go for the German on this occasions, simply because Ballack plays for my team Chelsea,

It was a decent finals, a bit cagey but Torres was magnificant and Spain were good up front without Villa. Germany showed signs of sustained play, but never managed to get a roll on.
