NOOOOO the cult hero of Melbourne Park for owned by a future cult hero :'(

That was a weird game tho o.O .... firstly how da fark did Monfils recover so quickly [or did he do a soccer and fake it :P...effective tho]... and secondly wat was with the unforced errors from Baggy!!!!! completely died in the 4th set.........

i think pressure really got to him this year last year he was an unknown.. this year hav been a lot of eyes on him.. particularly last year after being runner up in oz after some amazing comeback matches, semi finalist in wimbledon beating Lley Lley in the 4th round... and then matching it with Agassi in his swansong....

but Monfils really beat Baggy in his own game  ... firstly the way he won the crowd over!! and then just the way he plays...very awkward.. similar to Baggy last year when he would play a normal rally then BOOM big forehand comes out of nowhere.. and finally the way he must've faked taht injury haha.. Baggy did that heaps of times last year.. and of course that match against Agassi in the US...when the americans were booing him

hope Monfils goes really far in this tourny tho... playing Gasquet another french guy and young and has a lot of future =/

this whole Oz Open prolly the biggest thing i was looking forward to was watching Baggy <_< grr

wow, you guys watch tennis eh? I used to play tennis. Now I have retired from the game. I never watch Tennis though. Isn't it boring?

Cricket has some excitement but Tennis is just too boring for me. It is the same thing with golf eh.

Dont compare Tennis to golf!!!! lol

Actually there are some similarities to Tennis and Cricket... if it ahd not been for Kerry Packer i think a lot of us in this forum would say cricket is boring and may not even get into it !! (?)

Tennis is the same, another "gentlemens sport" ... but watch guys like Monfils and Baghdatis [todays match] and just watch these guys the excitement they have after they hit a winner down the line... or a close point... Tennis like cricket has changed i recn

But i think you have to have players to go for and it will be more fun to watch
