u told that others r just there to make the numbers. Well...KKR thought the same...& they have struggled in the 1st & 2nd IPL badly...using ur line of thought process.

IPL is not only abt unknown Indians & unknown Intl players to make a mark or impact...but also for established players & players who r lost & forgetten to make the same mark/impact....plus IPL can get u a ticket to Intl team (atleast T20 Intl team no matter the country).

The bottomline is that in IPL...u cant bring ur relax attitude or just for fun & giggle thought anymore (was accepted in the 1st year...because well..it was the 1st year). All the established players now know that if they think like that...they will not get new contracts plus will be probably in the reserves anyway. Nobody want to sit out in the dugout anyway.

International mtches have at least some more quality. Bigger grounds etc. Plus as I said it's all about international players , there wasn't one apart from YP who made an impcat. I mean from Indian players.

＾＾OK I'll admit that I have a problem against IPL and T20 in general. Fuck how many times have we gone through this. LOL. The things is, my opinion is T20 has done more bad than good (IPL has a big say in this) to cricket - Test in particular. Oh well, here we go again. I dont want to.

i think t20 bought a lot of inovation in to the game which brings out a lot of entertainment batsmen will still play test as they play test but they might increase thier strike rate a bit ...

but take for example players like Dilshan and shewag ..they play thier test games as they play ODI's ifits in the zone they will smash, when it comes to t20s these players dont change thier game much ..take a look at mahela , or sanga they still play good cricket shots to get thier runs , or tendulkar for example today , the dravids , kallis ...

T20's have bought a lot of innovation and more viewers in to the game of cricket although personally i prefer Odi format out of all format t20s are still great i meann for ppl who cant spend all thier day watching cricket , how can u honestly watch a whoel day of test cricket ist like 7 hours

t20s also made it more of challenge to bowlers now espeically in odis in the last 10 overs and there is oviusly a increase in run scoring .. and run scoring in general ..also bowlers hav developed different skills to combat the batsmen ..like variations . slower balls , slow bouncers , bowlling behind the crease and such
