So Steyn continues his good form in the sub-continent, specially in India. In 8 outings int the subcontinent (this is excluding Bangladesh) he has 42 wickets at 22.02 which is better than his career average. Econ and strike rate too are better. The only time he struggled as I can remember is in Sri Lanka where Mahela and Sanga practically murdered them in 2006. Even in Pakistan he's done well. It's just great to see him steaming in like that. We are seriously lacking some impact fast bowlers like that today. Well done to him!

He was the best bowler even in that hard grind they had with S'kara & Mahela.He got a 5 in the 1st innings of next one although most of them were low order wickets.Failed in that 352 run chase SL won.
He's probably the best Test match bowler in last 12 months.

Yeah along with Mitchell Johnson. They both did quite well but I like the aggression and the effort Steyn puts behind almost every delivery. He's truly an impact bowler who can change a match unlike Kallis who despite being phenomenally successful and consistent, fails to make an impact.
