Thread: Brian lara cricket 1999 (PSX game on PC)

Hello everyone,

It has been a long time since my last post. Anyway here are the links for the old classic Brian lara cricket 1999. Also called Shane warne cricket 1999.The gameplay in this game is superb.Graphics are not bad. This is a very rare game to find now. It is the playstation 1 version. So bit of work should be done to get it to work on pc. It works great on my pc. The steps aren't hard.

Use Daemon tools

After extracting the game. Use Daemon tool to mount the file. Tell me if you need help with this. It should be in the faq in daemon tools website.

Here are the steps anyway

*Double click daemon tools after installation
*In the bottom right corner of your screen you would see daemon tools icon
*Right click the icon and choose Virtual CD/DVD rom
*Then click device 0
*Then click mount image
*Pick the folder you extracted the game
*Then click SLES_01576.mds and open

Now the computer thinks that the game is in a cd and it is inserted in to a cd drive

Finally play the game using epsxe emulator

After mounting you need a psx emulator to play the game. I have uploaded my one for you. So you don't have to find bios or fix the settings. Epsxe is the best emulator for this game

SETTINGS FOR THIS GAME (Solution for black screen problem)

Select config from toolbar in epsxe
Config ---> Wizard guide---> scph1001- USA (recommended)----> P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.7 -----> ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2 ------> ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2 ------> controller 1-----> Done

Select config from toolbar on epsxe again
Config---->Video-----> Configure----> Activate special game fixes (tick), click nice instead of fast---->done

Select config from toolbar on epsxe again
Config----->Sound---->Tick the first three boxes ----->done

After that click file open in the emulator and click run disc. Enjoy the game. If there are any problems post here.

hey bro thnx 4 the game i was lookin for it for a long time, I dwnld it all and everythin of it but can u please send me your configurations settin that took 7 steps in the very beginning of espxe emulator. I want the config. settings tht are on ur pc. Cuz i set in the beginning of my own as u said it is preset. And one thin more which windows r u usin, will it work on vista

http://snesorama.us/ZGM password worked for me. It should work. Are you sure you downloaded both parts properly. Go to megaupload type the code and then download. Tell me how you went.

Just click next for everything when then they ask for configuartion. The ones that computer choose are the best ones for this game. Click controller 1 in configuration to check out the keys.Tell me if you have further problems.

Thx universalsameera for this game i just have one problem
The game loads up starting movie plays but when the game goes to the menu screen it is all black. Playing around with the controller you can hear the menu sounds but no menu.

Also part2 of your download had the same files as part1 so am i mising something ?

If anyone can help me out with this that would be great
